I propose a CHEAPer alternative to a combination trash/recycle/can crusher/composting bin all in one. I have found recycle/can crusher combos for around $115. I think we can design a very good looking one for a fraction of the price, given we design it well. I am imagining it as so, it would either be a stacking sort of arrangement or a side-by-side arrangement with the composting bin on the bottom. The bottom would be like a shelf that could slide out (similar to the rubbermaid stacking shelf drawers). Then the trash can and recycle bins would be on top of the bottom shelf. We could even attach a can crusher to make the recycling bin hold more cans.
First iteration of course.

If we could hit a low price point with this I think we could really do well. I think there is a big segment out there that I would call the disenfranchised recyclers. If we can make recycling easier some of those people might come back
